The Content Studio created a pilot AR app to show new Expedition owners all the features on their vehicle, and how to operate them. Simply point your phone’s camera at what you want to know about and tap on the hotspot that appears.

Using the Ford VIN decoder, the hot spots that appeared were specific to the individual vehicle. And with content on how to operate over 300 features, many with multiple variations for different vehicle configurations, the content was truly customized for each owner.

Using a mix of images, videos, AI voice overs, and animations, we walked owners through features as simple as changing your saved radio stations, to ones as complex as setting up the automatic parking system.
